This is my first post, which is slightly daunting but also quite enjoyable.
Hopefully I'll keep up with this on a day to day basis! What I'll post is anyone's guess really...a mix of cats, clothes, make up and cooking. With a few of my ramblings thrown in for free! Sound good?
I think we should get cracking with a picture, since it's the start.
Today, I set about making Cupcakes. Yes, those delicious little mouthfuls of wonderment. I am quite the cook (if I say so myself) when it comes to meals (my teas* are cracking!) but desserts are very much my downfall.
So, instead of giving up, I'm trying and trying again and today I had a success! Brilliant.
Here are my little masterpieces:
My mum has had four, so yes, they are as yummy as they look! :)
Ingredients.
The cake:
- 100g butter
- 100g self raising flour
- 2 eggs
- 100g caster sugar
The topping:
Ok, I cheated a little, but hey ho!
- Betty Crockers Vanilla Buttercream
- Pink Colouring (to add to buttercream)
- Mini Marshmallows
- Edible pink glitter.
Ta Da!
* I'm northern, so my slang and language on here will often reflect that, ie; I will say tea instead of dinner!
